The Petaling Jaya Sessions Court was told that the handcuffs placed on A Kugan's wrists throughout the police interrogation could not be found after the detainee was reported dead at the police station in January last year.

ASP Mohd Marzuki Mohd Mokhtar, 32, said he too did not know where the key to the handcuff was and confirmed that he had no further knowledge on the matter.
