The crime index in crime hotspots in Penang recorded a drop for the first 44 days of ‘Ops Bayan’.

Deputy inspector-general of police Ismail Omar said in that period, a 10 percent decrease was seen in the districts of Timur Laut and Seberang Perai Tengah.
