Anonymous: I am angry and disappointed with the way S Samy Vellu's men were allowed by the police to gain the upper hand to disrupt a meeting which has good intentions for the Indian community.

If the police continue to listen to these ‘gangsters', then how else are we to air our views on the current state of affairs of the Indians? My vote is not for BN as long as Samy Vellu is in control of MIC. I am sure many more Indians will vote for Pakatan Rakyat if the men in blue and the government do not stop the hooligans.

Patriot: They cannot even have a peaceful gathering but they want to lead the Indian Malaysian community? What a bunch of clowns and misfits. They are out to wage war and terror on the other for expressing their democratic rights. MIC is a party of the living dead with a leader suffering from dysfunctional personality.

Fairness for all: MIC president Samy Vellu really has no shame whatsoever. Despite the majority of Indians not wanting him, he still insists on staying on. The 50 MIC members who turned up must have been paid RM50 per head to behave like gangsters. That's all these MIC goons are worth.

Gandhi: Samy sent his rowdy supporters to disrupt a peaceful gathering. This is the culture Samy has perpetuated for the past 32 years. Selangor MIC Youth chief M Shanker Raj Ayenger and Selangor MIC information chief L Siva Subramaniam are the classic examples of uneducated Indians who know nothing but listen to Samy's orders.

Both of them should be ashamed of their upbringing. It's utterly shameful for a leader to guide his minions into a shouting match and behave like ugly hooligans. Samy, who came from a rough and tough background, is unable to change his ways until his last days. Indians are cursed to have a goon as a president and cultivate Indian hoodlums to cause trouble.

Vande Mataram: He has tasted the good life for far too long, thanks to the Indian community. Now he's dead set to stay and fight his war with the aid of his ‘kuncu-kuncu'. Having used to limitless control on power, Samy has become extremely greedy. A shameless leader, to say the least!

'Samy controlling Indians through gangsterism'

Joe: Thuggery is one of the hallmarks of the BN regime, with its ‘samseng' culture. The biggest culprit is Umno. Umno not only uses goons, but it also plays up religion and race to set the people apart so that the ruling clique and their cronies can exploit the affirmative action (30% quota for bumiputeras) policy as a smokescreen to freeload and engage in racketeering.

The Indians continue to support the very people who have used them and have been oppressing them. If they care to look carefully, nothing has changed in the BN-Umno coalition since March 2008. Umno is still playing its dirty tricks on the people with its race-based affirmative action.

The grievance of the Indian community is not just with Samy Vellu and his gangsters. He is merely a lackey serving Umno interests and doing Umno's bidding. It's Umno that has deceived Malaysians and taken the rakyat for a ride over the past 40 years. When will the Indians wake up?

Socialist: It is now only all of you know that Samy is a gangster? How about when you all are getting better perks from him? That time you praised him like a god.

How about when Maika shareholders were beaten? One of the GAS leader even punched Penang chief minister's secretary. All of you fellows are good for nothing.

Just leave the Indian community in peace. For 50 years, you all had cheated them. At least under Pakatan umbrella they are regaining their lost respect and their rights.

ES: I feel sorry for these guys. They are like toddlers who believe falling stars could be grabbed.

The fact is this: Samy has already tried his luck with an alternative - MMSP (Malaysia Makkal Sakti Party) - and we know of it was a still birth. Why should he risk it yet again?

PM Najib Razak has now formed a coalition of sorts with the help of his cabinet committee and task force - through which he hopes to deliver, and possibly win over the hearts and minds of Indians that his predecessor unwittingly lost.

KP Samy and V Mugilan, good luck! For all the evils that Samy Vellu and gang have visited upon unsuspecting Indians, the sorrier and prolonged the end, the better.
