The National Registration Department (NRD) in Putrajaya is reportedly studying Hindraf Makkal Sakthi’s memorandum presented last Friday, on the problem of several thousand people in peninsular Malaysia whom the group says have been denied Malaysian citizenship since independence in 1957.
