‘Just the beginning’
“This sends a clear message to the members and the party that Wanita is committed to fulfill the 30 percent leadership quota.”
“We are ready, this is just the beginning,” said Rodziah.
Among the ten contesting for branch leadership is the daughter of PKR de facto leader Nurul Izzah Anwar who will run for the Lembah Pantai branch post.
While Nurul Izzah’s mother Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail will vie to head the Permatang Pauh PKR branch.

All party members registered before June 27 will be allowed to vote for 18 posts at the branch level including for the branch’s 15 committee members.
