'Don't shut Khir Toyo up, let him talk'

your say 'The more he talks the bigger and deeper the hole he is digging for himself, Selangor Umno and ultimately Umno itself.'

'If I were Khir Toyo, I would shut up'

Nik V: If what Faekah Husin, a former successful lawyer is claiming is true, then we have voted rightfully and correctly for a better Selangor government. But it is not the Malaysiakini readers you need to convince. It's the people in the rural and semi-rural constituencies you will need to reach.

Dr Mohd Khir Toyo is saying what he is saying because he knows that they will only read whatever he wants them to believe in the pro-Umno-MCA-MIC-BN newspapers.

Kongkek: I am sick of Khir Toyo. Never in the history of the nation, the number two man in the state administration of Selangor (deputy MB), wrote to the then ACA with copies to the PM and DPM against his boss (Khir Toyo the MB), accusing him of lying in the State Assembly and corruption, but no action was taken by the ACA nor the PM (Dr Mahathir Mohamad).

This Khir Toyo, whose parents migrated from Java to Malaya during the Japanese occupation and was born after Merdeka and recognised as a bumiputera, took office as MB only to enrich himself and his close cronies. Now he is acting as though he is an angel free of any wrongdoings.

Such a man will not keep quiet because he is still in the wilderness trying to 'clean' Selangor with his fake smile. Khir Toyo, you are nothing less than "go to the pigs and whistles", as the saying goes and if you are smart enough to understand its meaning.

Cala: Two things about Khir Toyo. First, what about the "super highway" that he built in his constituency, Sungai Panjang, which nobody uses during his time as MB?

Second, what about the many parcels of land in Kota Damansara which PKNS joint venture with private developers and built high-end houses? I thought the main goal of PKNS is to cater for the needs of the poor. What has happened to its social goal?

Maitreya: Syabas, Puan Faekah. You're a woman of substance and all decent Selangorians are happy you are part of the Pakatan Rakyat state government.

Chipmunk: I will have to strongly disagree with Faekah on Khir Toyo to shut his mouth. Why? Well, if Khir Toyo don't open his mouth, Selangor would have gone to Umno. The more Khir Toyo opens his mouth, the more votes for Pakatan. So I strongly urge Khir Toyo to continue opening his mouth. After all, he is shooting his own foot, so who cares what he says.

BTN: Faekah, with the way you are going, we may see an Iron Lady in Malaysia politics soon. Keep it up as it's high time we have a lady who fear no one but Allah.

Logic: Such information and article need to reach the rakyat in rural areas. There are people who are idolising Khir Toyo and Umno. PKR, please do something to reach the rakyat. Bravo Puan Faekah, bravo!

Tkc: Khir Toyo's palace could be just the tip of the iceberg of deceit. I would not be surprised if large amounts of ill-gotten monies have flown out of the country because these guys know that if Pakatan were to dig deeper, they will be in really deep shit. So better get the money out before it is too late.

MyGosh: Puan, we salute you. However, your job is only half done. The Selangor government must make those in rural areas aware all the nonsense of BN/Khir Toyo. Translate into the major languages and make sure the message reaches the villages and outlying areas. That is the real challenge.

Johan A: I think Faekah and the Selangor Pakatan should print millions of copies of such information, rent a couple of helicoptors and air drop them into the Felda schemes, kampongs, remote Chinese new villages, etc, in Selangor, Perak, Kedah, Johor and everywhere where folks read only the mainstream newspapers and seldom get news from the Internet.

Agent99: Way to go Faekah. Give it all to that troublemaker. Unbelievable, the benefits that they were enjoying. Is that corruption? Can't be because MACC is not responding. Every time Khir's past history is being listed out, I feel my heart burn right through.

And what Faekah had found must be the tip of the tip of the tip of an iceberg. Sad, we can only talk, raise our dissapointment, and that is about it. Nobody with authority can make it right.

Call me Jibby: Would HRH Sultan of Selangor like to see his state being plundered and robbed of money and land? There will be nothing left soon if Umno continue in power.

Swipenter: Don't ask him to shut up. The more he talks the bigger and deeper the hole he is digging for himself, Selangor Umno and ultimately Umno itself. I believe when he was MB he thought himself untouchable and did things "carelessly" without giving much thought to cover all the improprieties. You get careless when you get too swollen-headed.

Encourage him to talk as much as he wants for it can provide you with valuable clues where to dig up more of the nonsense when he was MB.

Lover Boy: Cik Faekah only deals with facts and there are obvious proof of corruption by the previous MB. What struck me is the part about Felda land, where the name of a dentist appeared on the title. There is no need to name the dentist, but the whole of Malaysia knows who he is.

Pemerhati: Pakatan should immediately compile a detailed list of all the crooked activities they have discovered and inform all Malaysians. The chances are similar crooked activities are taking place in the other BN-controlled states. If this type of information is widely and continuously disseminated it will almost certainly swing a lot of votes in Pakatan's favour at the next elections.

Justice Seeker: My salutations to you, our future YB Faekah Husin. You have the brain and brawn. You were a successful lawyer but decided to serve the rakyat by being the political secretary of Selangor MB Khalid Ibrahim.

I pray one day you will be the Iron Lady of Malaysia, bravely exposing the corrupted leaders of the country and willingly taking the risk of being victimised by these corrupted and powerful Umno leaders.

Kevin Phang: Khir Toyo, did I hear you say, "Oops, I forgot to shred those documents"?
