10.55am (Galas): DPM Muhyiddin Yassin, Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh (Ku Li), BN candidate Abdul Aziz Yusoff and other dignitaries visit SRJKC Gua Musang.

BN, on the other hand, has plenty of money and is willing to commit to developing Galas if elected.

Ku Li also blames his lack of action in Gua Musang on the absence of BN, without which he says he has become “ lemah ” (weak).

A crowd of over 600 are present, including over a hundred Chinese members of the Yit Lam society wearing orange T-shirts and a group wearing Red Warrior T-shirts and shouting the state football team's battle cry to claim BN's 'red wave' will overturn Galas.

NONE 11.19am (Galas) PAS elections director Abdul Halim Abdul Rahman denies that Kelantan Menteri Besar Nik Aziz Nik Mat's cash awards to several Orang Asli is a form of corruption.

"I was told it was wang zakat (alms). Tok Guru had converted three Orang Asli to Islam and had given them the wang zakat, ” Abdul Halim tells a press conference at PAS election headquarters in Gua Musang.

11.30am (Galas): Muhyiddin Yassin visits SK Tg Muhammad Fakhry, Sg Terah, Gua Musang.

NONE 11.30am: Pakatan leaders, including PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Bukit Gantang MP Nizar Jamaluddin, Perak DAP chief Ngeh Koo Ham and PKR vice-president Mustaffa Kamil Ayub join PKR's final daily press conference today.

A video of BN giving out zinc sheets to villagers yesterday living around the Karamunting MPS flats, saying that only voters are entitled to it, is shown.

11.45am (Galas): A PAS supporter lodges a police report against former Kelantan Umno information chief Nor Idris at the Gua Musang IPD regarding the false 'khalwat ' allegations against their candidate Dr Zulkefli Mohamed .

11.58am (Batu Sapi): Chief Minister Musa Aman launches Vista Leila Idaman at Bandar Leila, a 944-unit mid-range apartment project by Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB).

NONE The RM125 million project, when completed, will offer units priced RM118,000 to RM191,000.

Musa ( left ) said in his officiating speech that the project showed BN’s commitment to helping the people.

"Sabahans know how to show their appreciation to our nation's leaders. How do we do it? By giving them the mandate to continue with their good work," he said to crowd of about 300.

Earlier this morning, Deputy Home Minister Lee Chee Leong had given out citizenship and birth certificates to 101 bumiputera and Chinese residents of Karamunting.

NONE 12noon (Batu Sapi): PKR candidate Ansari Abdullah goes on a walkabout at Golden Gate, Jln Batu Sapi and Lupak Meluas.

12noon - 1pm (Galas): The BN candidate Abdul Aziz Yusof visits Lepan Jaya, while DPM Muhyiddin visits Kem Semur, Gua Musang.

12.30pm (Galas): DPM Muhyiddin meets with residents at SRK Tengku Faez in Sg Terah.

2pm (Galas): DPM Muhyiddin believes that the price hike of RON 97 petrol would not affect BN's winning chances in Galas.

He said the recent price hike was only on RON 97 petrol, but not RON 95 petrol, that is used by the majority of rakyat. He added that the government specifically did not raise the price of the latter based on this fact.

"I want to ask, who is using RON 97 petrol here? All using RON 95 petrol right? You see, all using RON 95."

"We subsidise RON 95 more than RON 97; many people using RON 95 that's why we control its price," he said, adding that it is a lie to accuse the government of not taking care of the rakyat.

The BN deputy chairman was speaking at an event held at a national school in Sg Terah, Galas this afternoon.

NONE 3pm (Batu Sapi): EC chairperson Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof holds a press conference at SMK Batu Sapi.

The commission is expecting a 75 per cent voter turnout for the by-election tomorrow.

He said the projection was based on feedback from the election machineries of parties contesting the by-election.

He was visiting the polling centre at the school today. Batu Sapi had 25,583 registered voters.

3.05pm (Galas): Perkasa Youth vice-chief Irwan Fahmi Ideris Gua Musang ( below, right ) and ex-Tendong assemblyperson Fauzi Muhammad ( below, left ) file police reports against Kelantan MB Nik Aziz over the giving of ' zakat ' to three Orang Asli yesterday.

5.06pm (Galas): DPM Muhyiddin says it was a wrong thing for Nik Aziz to have given the ‘zakat’ alms whatever the PAS spiritual leader might claim.

According to Bernama , Muhyiddin added that it was up to the authorities to act against Nik Aziz if there had been any wrongdoing.

NONE 5.30pm (Batu Sapi): DPM Muhyiddin joins solat hajat (special prayers) at Masjid Al-Falah in Karamunting.

8pm (Batu Sapi): PKR candidate Ansari to attend political ceramah at Kg Air, Bokara.

8pm (Galas): Special prayer at BN candidate Abdul Aziz Yusof's house.

8.30pm (Batu Sapi): Sapp president and Batu Sapi candidate Yong in his final campaign speech to appeal for support recaps his achievements over the two years he served as chief minister in the late 1990s.

Yong tells a 1,000-strong crowd assembled at the Tai Tong Kindergarten hall in Taman Mawar that he has always held the people's interests at heart, having approved millions of ringgit in allocations and land for schools and resisting efforts by certain parties to monopolise the scrap metal business in Sabah.

He urges Batu Sapi voters to give him the opportunity to raise the many issues faced by residents of Batu Sapi and Sandakan in Parliament, repeating his call for greater Sabah autonomy.

"Why should we wait for approval from Kuala Lumpur to choose candidates to represent Sabahans?

"Sabah has special privileges as provided for in the 1963 Malaysia agreement, and we must fight to uphold our rights," says Yong.

8.45pm (Batu Sapi): Over 2,000 people - mostly Chinese - have turned up for Pakatan’s final ceramah at Sandakan Yuk Yuan Independent School.

The hall is full, with many having to stand outside and follow the ceramah through windows.

Anwar is giving a speech to the animated crowd. " Ma lai ren (malay), hua ren (chinese), yin du ren (indian), ka da san ren (kadazan), wo men dou shi yi jia ren (we are one family," says Anwar, whose Mandarin is met with applause from the crowd.

Also on stage with are DAP’s Lim Guan Eng, Ngeh Koo Ham, PAS’ Nizar Jamaluddin, PKR’s Wan Azizah, Azmin Ali, Chua Jui Meng and candidate Ansari Abdullah.

There are two big banners with "Justice for Teoh Beng Hock" hung up on both sides of the hall.

9pm (Batu Sapi): DPM Muhyiddin to attend closed-door briefing for heads of BN election machinery at Sabah Hotel.

9pm (Galas): Pakatan is holding its final ceramah at a big field in Kampung Baru, Gua Musang. About 200 people sit under three camp tents erected by the organisers.

Heavy rain seems to have dampened the ceramah. Kuala Langat MP Abdullah Sani says the "hujan selamat" and can bring victory to PAS candidate Dr Zulkefli Mohamad.

In Taman Kesedar Jaya , BN candidate Abdul Aziz Yusof is holding a solat hajat with his family and close friends. About 20 people joins him in the prayer, including his father.

"There are no pembesar (party big guns) here, just friends and family. Afterwards, I will attend the 1Malaysia dinner," he says.

He smiles a lot and keep stirring laughter from his friends when met at his house.

9.50pm (Batu Sapi) - PAS' Nizar mixes his fiery speech in Malay with Mandarin, drawing rounds of applause. He ends his speech on a high note and affects a standing ovation by the 2,000-strong crowd after crooning to the audience's delight "The Moon Represents My Heart".

10.45 pm (Galas):  It stops raining in Galas, as DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang takes the stage and begins his speech to the 200 crowd.

Galas, says the Ipoh Timor MP, will be a very important step for Pakatan in the journey to Putrajaya. He urges voters to support PAS tomorrow.

"We must teach (DPM) Muhyiddin a lesson. He is too arrogant for saying BN can win big in all 13 polling districts."

12.01am (Galas): At BN's 1Malaysia dinner, there are unconfirmed reports that the singer engaged to entertain the 2,000 guests had sung the song "The Moon Represents My Heart" - a PAS favourite when in front of a Chinese-majority audience.

Organisers are said to have come on stage afterwards to assure the audience that the singer does not know what the political significance of the song and that there were no political motivations behind the choice of song.

There was also a lucky draw, and beer flowed freely.
