More village chiefs get sex video CDs in the mail

Anonymous: What if the kids pop these CDs into their computers? Is this supposed to be some kind of sex education for them? Perhaps we should bestow Datuk T the enviable title of 'Bapa Pornifikasi Malaysia' or 'Father of Pornography of Malaysia'?

As usual, there are people who keep barking at Anwar and remain blind to this total loss of decency. So BN, anything goes?

Quigonbond: It looks like someone's actively peddling porno materials. How come the police are not investigating? Isn't it clear that Shazryl Eskay Abdullah is the culprit behind this? Why hasn't he been charged yet?

BN is clearly complicit in this gutter campaign. They probably realise that the court process to sully Anwar's name takes too long, and reduces their credibility anyway. It looks like Umno is operating on the basis of mutually-assured destruction, but confident that they will be left standing in the end.

Will the people wise up and soundly reject Umno's dirty politics? I hope so.

Anonymous_40a7: So, this is how BN plans to take back Selangor - with a couple of porn CDs.

Fighting tooth and nail for Malay votes

Ocs: I guess the Malays have the most to lose if they do not vote wisely in the coming general election. They are the most disadvantageous in the Malaysia society, especially from an economic standpoint.

The truth of the matter is that Malaysia is going bankrupt. The Najib Razak regime has not done anything solid to turn the economy around.

Whatever money left in the Treasury is channelled to Umno to fund its GE13 campaign and Umnoputra projects. Once GE13 is over and if Umno is firmly back in power, petrol, electricity, water, toll and food prices will be increased, causing sky-rocketing inflation.

This will be followed with withdrawal of education, religious and other economic (e.g Felda, Felcra) benefits which Umno has always provided to the Malays. As for the non-Malays, they will be left to their own devices.

Patriot: Anwar, if you cannot resolve your own internal matters and build back the confidence in the rakyat that our choice is for the better not worse, then please do not waste our time.

I would rather stick to the devil I know than the angel I do not know. If the next GE is just round the corner as you claim, where is your Pakatan Rakyat manifesto which should be introduced to the rakyat by now?

Jiminy Qrikert: So far as we can deduce from whatever has developed over the past series of by-elections, the Chinese are solidly behind Pakatan and this support is growing by the minute.

If in the past the percentage was 70%, by now after the Bible, the Christian state and the 1Malaysia email issues, the Chinese support for Pakatan is now more likely at 80% and still growing - those switching are from MCA and Gerakan, the fence-sitters, the Chinese Christians as well as those who never voted before.

There are active pockets of people working to get the young to register as voters. At the same time, these young are informed of what's going on through alternative media reports that don't show up in the MSM (mainstream media).

Once GE13 is announced, we will work on these new voters to get them to vote Pakatan. All each of us needs to do is get one new voter to vote for Pakatan. DSAI and Pakatan can concentrate their efforts on the Umno Malay fortress states.

The one thing marketers know is this: once the Chinese make up their minds, susah to change.

Gen2indian: Great democratic nations like the US, Germany and France have fixed election dates. The US president is president for exactly four years. In France, it is for seven years.

In Bolehland, we have a guessing game relating to the election date. Meanwhile, Najib and Co go round the country using government machinery and facilities to do dry runs before announcing the election date.

The opposition has no chance and time to reach out to the electorate in the two week's notice given, considering the opposition has no access to the mainstream media. Fair elections, my foot.

Mirror Thyself: Anwar, it is very dangerous for you to commit saying that the GE13 will be held within this year. BN can postpone the GE 13 to next year to make you look bad. Already you have had a bad experience with the September 16 fiasco.

KSN: Voters - especially those in the kampongs and ulu areas - their issues are not really political like MRT, subsidies to IPPs, corruption in high places, etc. Not that they are not concerned, but their issues are bread, butter and basic infrastructure.

Has Pakatan, especially PKR, a strategy to address them and convey them? Has the PKR election problems and the damage caused in the process been resolved?

Have you in PKR enough candidates with national outlook and impeccable integrity and capability? The opposition has a lot of work to do.

PKR in danger of being evicted from HQ?

Redion: Check the tenancy agreement. The problem is between the bank and the landlord. It has nothing to do with the tenant. If a new owner takes over the building, he has to adhere to the old tenancy agreement till it is over.

Jaguh: Check the ‘feng shui'. If good, buy. If bad, it's a good omen the landlord defaulted. If it's a buy, pass the hat around. PKR might even own the whole block. What's the big fuss? It's only a tenancy issue and you have enough lawyers to handle that. Focus on Putrajaya.

Rayfire: Perhaps it is high time PKR finds a new building closer to Putrajaya or Putrajaya itself. I am not going to speculate as to why the auction happens now - is it because the owner genuinely couldn't pay or conveniently didn't pay?

Only he knows. Then again what good is a physical change when the party itself is in turmoil internally. You may need more than just a location change, agreed?
