  • Gerakan has begun to consider ways of addressing problems in timetable which is expected to occur when the current Standard One pupils in Chinese schools enter Standard Four.

    Party president Dr Lim Keng Yaik said there would be problems accommodating the 2-4-3 formula because the number of subject periods had been extended to the maximum 50.

    "We would consult other Barisan Nasional component parties (on this)," he told reporters at the end of the party's 32nd national delegates conference held in Kuala Lumpur today.
