PKR Youth’s deputy information chief Rozan Azen Mat Rasip today lodged a police report against a pro-Umno blogger following his posting ye
sterday of a video clip purportedly implicating opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim in the controversial ‘Carcosa’ sex video.
Filing the report at the Jalan Dang Wangi police station in Kuala Lumpur, Rozan Azen ( left ) said he felt “very disappointment” with the action of the blogger ‘Papa Gomo’ for creating confusion in the public, “making a mockery of the syariah” process, and venting his “ill-intent” by way of the video posting.
“It is clear that he (Papa Gomo) continues to accuse and malign the good name of Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim. In my view, he should be investigated immediately as to the source of the video in question, since he has said he has other materials that he claims is proof and will expose soon,” said Rozan Azen in his report.
“I worry that the pornographic video that he plans to expose will have an adverse impact on society,” he added.
Rozan’s actions follow the posting yesterday of a video that Papa Gomo claims to be
“exclusive” video
of two men, allegedly businessman Shazryl Eskay Abdullah and Anwar, entering and exiting a lift of a building claimed to be an apartment in Ampang, said to be the venue of the infamous sex video.
On Papa Gomo’s blog, the clip is edited to link the CCTV footage with the Carcosa sex video, showing the final minutes of the latter with the man, said to be Anwar, dressing up and leaving, with corresponding time stamps to suggest the sequence of events were continuous.
Taunting, teasing
The CCTV footage was earlier mentioned in the case facts when Eskay and his collaborators were tried and charged for screening pornography this June at the luxury Carcosa Seri Negara Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
While much of the notorious sex video has been uploaded onto cyberspace before, the present footage of the goings on in the room are taken from a different camera angle not shown before, from the far-right corner of the room facing the bed.
The blog, that elsewhere also included the more explicit moments of the sex video edited documentary-style to implicate the PKR de facto leader, said its intention was to call for Anwar's resignation.
The new clip also ended with an ominous teaser of another piece of footage, apparently taken on Jan 13, 2011 at around 8.30am.
The "new video" shows a man alleged to be Anwar in a bathrobe, taken from what appears to be a hidden camera.
The blogger threatened to release this new video (left) soon saying this was just a teaser and asking, “Where was Anwar on 12-13 January 2011?”
“Should we release this (new) sex video of Anwar Ibrahim...?” taunted the blogger.
Papa Gomo, a self-professed BN supporter, had earlier been investigated by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) for posting the Carcosa sex video.
