Wanita MCA says the ‘new generation' of DAP leaders has undermined and levelled it to ‘nothing more than a party of foul words'.

NONE MCA Wanita has lambasted the DAP for allowing its leaders to shoot off their mouths with foul words against their BN counterparts.

In a statement, Wanita MCA's secretary-general, Senator Chew Lee Giok (right) said the "new generation" of DAP leaders has undermined and brought it down to being "nothing more than a party of foul words".

"The earlier generations of DAP leaders, such as current DAP life advisor Dr Chen Man Hin and former secretary-general CV Devan Nair, had shown the virtue of rationality in the field of politics.

"But the actions of this current batch of DAP leaders who tend to utter foul words frequently, and worse, are actually proud of it, has corrupted the party's principles," said Chew.

How low can you go?

NONE She cited, among other instances, the use by DAP's Pantai Remis state assemblyperson Nga Kor Ming ( right ) of the word ‘ political prostitute ' in the Perak legislative assembly yesterday.

"Describing someone as a prostitute is very insulting indeed and Nga Kor Ming should not have done so despite ifferences in opinion with anyone," said Chew.

She also recounted claims that DAP elections preparations publicity chief Hew Kuan Yau had used "rude words when scolding and cursing MCA leaders and party members, as well as family members of MCA members".

"I pose a question to the women leaders of DAP, such as Teresa Kok, Chong Eng and Teo Nie Ching, who constantly claim that will protect the rights and dignity of women - are they willing to stand up and condemn the discriminating and insulting statements made by Nga Kor Ming?" asked Chew.

She expressed doubts, however, that they would act against their own party colleagues given that they or their fellow women leaders in Pakatan Rakyat had failed to protest the abuse allegedly committed by a PKR member against Wanita MCA central committee member Wong Sook Wah.

This proves that Pakatan leaders practise double standards and are prejudiced against BN members, said Chew.
