'Hasan should train his guns on Obedient Wives Club'

"I think this is the battlefield that Hasan Ali should be fighting on and not against PAS, for there is clear distortion of faith here," she said at a press conference in Shah Alam.

Selangor PAS commissioner Abdul Rani Osman, who was also present, said he hoped the Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) should not let such an incident occur in the state.
“How can you use a holy person as a sex figure, this is ridiculous,” Rani said.
If Hasan was sincere about fighting for the Muslim faith he would not merely take aim at PAS, he added.
Reading out from a statement while flanked by the top Selangor PAS leadership, its Youth chief Hasbullah Mohd Ridzwan blasted Hasan for turning away from PAS after losing positions in the party.
Hasbullah said Hasan’s relentless attacks were unjustified as PAS has not changed since the latter helmed the party’s leadership in the state.
“He is willing to make unfounded allegations, such PAS sidelining the ulama (religious scholars), pawning Malay rights and bowing to DAP and PKR, but the fact is that nothing has changed since the time he was Selangor PAS commissioner and state exco member.
“The only thing that changed was that he had no positions in PAS,” Hasbullah said.
He said Hasan began creating problems after he was not reappointed as Selangor PAS commissioner and the situation came to a critical point after he found out that he had failed to secure enough nominations to defend his Gombak Setia state seat.
He added that while Hasan Ali claimed that PAS had sidelined the ulama, he had defied advice from the ulama to remain silent.
‘Third force is day-dreaming’
Meanwhile, commenting on speculation that Hasan would lead a ‘third force’ in the coming general election, Rani dismissed it as “day-dreaming”.
“Thus far, I don’t see it happening, I saw his interview on TV3, there was no information as to who the leaders would be or any details,” he said.
Even if Hasan succeeded in setting up the movement, PAS would not be affected.
“If he really wants to be the third force, then he should be criticising both PAS and Umno, but I’m sorry to say that he appears to be a barua (running dog) for Umno,” said Rani (right) .
Hasan has embarked on a roadshow following his sacking, launching attacks against PAS leaders, including Rani.
Speculation has been rife that the sacked leader will use anti-apotasy group Himpun as a platform to “expose the parasites” in PAS.
