VOXPOP 'Is the government at a loss for words and Umno's ‘Drama Minggu Ini' scriptwriters are unable to keep pace with PKR?'
NFC venturing into S'pore absurd, says PKR
WangMalaysia:
First, one has to look into the charter of NFC (National Feedlot Corporation). Was it formed to reduce Malaysia's dependency on beef imports and to help local cattle farmers improve their capacity and productivity?
NFC, by taking a ‘loan' from the government, has an obligation to fulfill the nation's needs, instead of spreading its wings to places of no benefit to the nation.
I have also found an article here , where NFC CEO Izran Salleh talked as if the business was all theirs without any help or assistance from the government, giving a false view of their mission and vision.
What he failed to mention was that the NFC was set up with the rakyat's money.
YF: Notice how silent the government is in handling this NFC corruption case.
It's as if they are at a loss for words while Umno's ‘Drama Minggu Ini' scriptwriters are unable to keep pace with PKR, to write the usual ‘tak masuk akal' (nonsensical) explanations to cover up Umno's mishandling of these very obvious acts of abuse and corruption.
If this happened outside Malaysia, the criminals would have been caught by now. But here, in a so-called Muslim country, corruption by Umno is considered halal .
ALZHSH: Change the ‘N' in National Feedlot Corporation to ‘I' for ‘international', then the explanation by NFC chairperson Mohamad Salleh Ismail may hold a few drops of water.
I dare say more than 99 percent of Muslim food stalls in Sarawak are selling imported beef from foreign countries. Yet ‘IFC' is trying to imply that Malaysia has a surplus of beef for the local market.
Anonymous_3ef1: It's getting more and more hilarious. Fresh beef from Malaysia is banned from entering Singapore. Only processed meat is allowed and only four local companies are designated to export to Singapore.
Keep it coming NFC, you are not only making a fool of yourself but also insulting our intelligence.
Johorean: The local beef market is definitely big enough to the extent that one beef importer has a RM300 million plus turnover a year.
NFC is just a small fry which doesn't know its business - blaming the local market of being too small.
Bersih 1.0: Mat Sabu, Tian Chua told to enter defence
Anonymous: Wow! All of them were charged by attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail, who appeared personally in court. It must be a very serious crime.
But wait a minute, the charge is participating in a peaceful rally to hand over a memorandum for clean and fair elections to the Agong. Is it a serious crime? Perhaps only to Gani it is.
Let's assume this is serious, then the intentional and shameless blockage of Penang Bridge by Umno and Perkasa that caused a massive traffic jam there must be even more serious. Where were you, Gani?
Using the words of the wise judge, it's definitely more serious as it did not cause only uneasiness, it cause anger among the Penang motorists.
Akutuan: I am really curious. A peaceful gathering and you take action. Those who steal the rakyat's money, you close one eye.
We have more serious matters to think of instead of this trivial issue. Come on, judge. I hope your next generation will forgive your judgment today.
Voteforchange: Think positively guys, the government is doing the opposition and Bersih committee members a favour by keeping Bersih fresh in the rakyat's mind.
Don't Just Talk: PAS deputy president Mat Sabu and PKR vice-president Tian Chua were acquitted by the Sessions Court, but now have to enter their defence in the High Court.
DAP chairperson Karpal Singh was acquitted for sedition by the High Court, but has to appear before the Court of Appeal.
PM Najib Razak's close friend Abdul Razak Baginda was acquitted by the High Court for the murder of the late Altantuya Shaariibuu but was not required to appear before the Court to Appeal.
And the best part was that two police officers who did not know Altantuya, were found guilty for her murder and for blowing her up with C4 explosives.
Can anyone please explain to a ‘blur' layman like me, what is happening to our judiciary?
AnonymousA: Where is the shoe-throwing iman? You are needed here.
Dingy: It looks like GE13 is near. Najib needs to put the opposition leaders in jail or at least slapped with a fine exceeding RM2,000 to disqualify them from standing in the general elections.
More charges on opposition leaders are on the cards. The attorney-general and judges will play their part to convict these people even if the cases are a few years old. This is the only way for Najib to beat the opposition.
It's Najib's last resort to win a landslide victory by stopping opposition leaders from taking part in the GE, and he needs a landslide victory to stay in power.
