YOURSAY ‘National laureate A Samad Said, this type of ‘samseng' culture does not appear overnight and is not confined to the Malays.'

'Then there was Hang Tuah, now Hang Samseng'

your say Anonyxyz: National laureate A Samad Said, what to do? This type of ‘samseng' culture does not appear overnight and is not confined to the Malays.

It has been building up over the past 20 over years, not 50, ever since the country was ruled by a ‘mad doctor'.

The saddest part is not just the existence of this culture, which can be corrected if need to be. It is that the mad doctor is still having a large number of followers seduced by his ketuanan slogan, who are actually getting nothing in return and still blind enough not to notice that all the rewards belong to the corrupted filthy rich group of BNputras of all races.

Today this group is feeding selected categories of people, only to slaughter them slowly to satisfy their never-ending craving for dirty money.

This ‘heroin' that the mad doctor has prescribed to the Malays will be consumed by illegal immigrants. When the rehabilitated Malays recover from their ‘addiction', can we be saved?

Anonymous #63753867: Awakened, said A Samad Said. "There has been an obvious moral decay in Malaysia in the last 20 years."

Correction: "There has been an obvious moral decay in Umno in the last 26 years".

Awakened: There has been an obvious moral decay in Malaysia in the last 20 years. Many cannot distinguish between right and wrong.

Although Malaysia is a country with people who are believers of the world's main religions like Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism and Confucianism, the leaders of the ruling parties have propagated values which are contradictory to the religious values.

Examples are advocating racism, racial supremacy, special privileges for wealth enhancement, culture of hate and slander.

Of late, we are seeing more and more violence being advocated. We should rise up and condemn and stop this moral decay. Otherwise, our country will go downhill.

Loyal Malaysian: Trust the conscience of our nation to give such a meaningful and insightful interpretation of the cultureless and ‘samseng' intimidation of Bersih co-chairperson Ambiga Sreenevasan.

Yes, Pak Samad, it is indeed a big disgrace to the Umnoputras that under their watch, we have such rogues running around like kings on the streets outside Ambiga's house and in Merlimau .

Chuath: Pak Samad has a bigger picture view than all those ministers we employ with our taxes. Why do we always employ the clowns who cannot even string together a logical and rational sentence whenever issues of democracy come up?

LittleGiant: People are not stupid. The Umno-BN leaders should be ashamed of their actions of unleashing these ‘Hang Samseng' and intimidating true democracy.

I suppose they could ‘recruit' more and more of these ‘Hang Samseng' to achieve their objective of making Malaysia a "fully developed, high-income" nation, if not in the next decade but at least in the next 100 years.

May: Honestly, I feel rather sad at what's happening. Racism rears its ugly head because of those few who are afraid to lose it all should we Malaysians unite and be one, the way we should.

This divide-and-rule policy that also reduce some people into needing ‘crutches' to get by is truly treacherous.

I used to think that we, small town, kampung folk were neighbourly and truly cared for one another. Now, some of us are so suspicious of goodwill of all Malaysians.

We really have to go back to that time when we could roam freely on the streets, where my home is also yours and we eat at the same table.

Our failed education policy nurtures racism and schools are breeding grounds. We really have to fog this menace.

Smartvoters: Previously these same Umno/Perkasa-sponsored gang did the cow-head protest. Now it's beef-burger protest.

MIC, PPP, S Nallakaruppan's MIUP and even Hindraf are quiet as a mouse on this humiliating beastly insults.

I hope Indian voters remember all these when they vote in the coming general election. If you still vote Umno-BN, definitely there will be more and even bigger insult from these Umno/Perkasa/BN goons.

Ferdtan: We just don't understand. These ‘samseng' incidents are certainly not spontaneous due to its many occurrences.

By having so many such incidents of intimidation and violent behaviour of the participants all over the country, it must be 'state-sponsored' by the BN government.

The silence from the PM and his deputy with regard to the above shameful incidents confirmed what many believe to be true.

How can the BN government win the hearts and minds of the people if they are seen to condone such violence? Are they scraping the bottom of the barrel?

Have they no other ways to fight a political war? Do they have to resort to intimidation, creating fear among the people playing on racial and religious sentiments?

Hello, BN - this is the 21st century. We have communication at our fingertips. Every lie by the government would be reported in a split second by the netizens.

The rakyat fear no more.

Telestai!: The true colours of Umno finally emerge as the next general election draws near. I guess life will not be the same for them on the opposition bench.

As the saying goes, the fear of death is worse than death itself.
