MCA Wanita vice-chairperson Heng Seai Kie today warned that PAS allegedly condones the raping of non-Muslim women who do not conform to the Islamic dress code.

 

NONE Adressing the MCA Wanita delegates conference in Kuala Lumpur today, Heng came to this conclusion based on an old video depicting PAS spiritual leader Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat allegedly stating so about women.

 

"Pakatan has misled us to believe PAS' hudud law won't affect the rights of non-Muslims because (based on Nik Aziz's argument) there is no law to stop Muslims from raping non-Muslims.

 

"If you watch the YouTube clip, you would know that Nik Aziz had once said that a woman should tutup aurat (protect their modesty), otherwise the woman should be raped.

 

"From Nik Aziz's speech, we can conclude that Nik Aziz openly asked Muslim to rape non-Muslim, am I right?" asked Heng, winning approval from the 1,032 delegates.

 

In view of this, Heng urged non-Muslim women to do whatever necessary to stop PAS from implementing hudud law.

 

When approached later, Heng repeated her stance, accusing Nik Aziz of having repeated himself on the issue several times.

 

"Nik Aziz said women who (don't cover up) are jualan murah (cheap sale). You (a man) can just rape (them)," she said.

Nik Aziz's speech was reportedly recorded in 2008 and used as ammunition repeatedly by MCA.

However, Nik Aziz did not make any mention of non-Muslims in the video clip.

However, those who rose to Nik Aziz's defence claim that he had been quoted out of context.
