COMMENT The prime minister has called upon the public not to blame the government whenever a disaster, such as the recent flood, occurs.

He goes on to say that factors such as the monsoon season and global warming, which is currently a worldwide phenomenon are responsible for the floods.

With due respect, the prime minister seems to miss the point.
