S'gor MB's aide berates 'racist' Dr M in open letter

Kairos: Well said, Selangor MB's political secretary Faekah Husin. More so, Dr Mahathir Mohamad has now revealed his true colours.

He is an ultra racist and a truly evil man who will not hesitate to use his power and influence to further his Malay agenda.

I have a feeling that he sensed that the days of BN are numbered after 55 years of corrupt governance. That's why he is going for broke and making wild, nonsensical statements that carry dangerous racial and religious overtones.

The good thing is that, increasingly, this old man is isolated and less and less people take him seriously. As Faekah rightly says, just let him bark and howl like a mad dog.

Mahathir will go down in the annals of Malaysian history as a traitor and a racist who has sold the country to the dogs.

Hopefully, Pakatan Rakyat will be able to pick up the pieces of our destroyed nation and put them back together should it manage to win power.

Jesse: Dr M is a proven bigot, a man of the past filled with hatred for the British and other races. He has contributed much to the deterioration of democracy in the nation and the rise of powerful cronies.

His rightful place is among the ranks of historical rogues and dictators. Educated Malays are now well aware of his destructive ways.

DontPlayGod: Mahathir has always played the race card for more than 22 long years, and sad to say, the Umno Malays have always responded to his racist rantings.

There is only one way forward for Malaysia if we want to join the company of fast developing countries in this region, and that is to do away with racial politics, which Umno is incapable of.

Umno has always made itself to be the champion of the Malays. After 55 years of Umno rule, are the Malays satisfied with their situation vis-a-vis the other races?

If we continue Umno's way, we will be at the bottom of the list of Asean countries, which currently, we are heading towards.

We were at one time on par with or even ahead of Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea, but these countries have long overtaken us.

OMG!!: Very refreshing from Faekah. This country could only progress if there is racial unity and religious harmony. Let's stop these selfish and shameless politicians who are playing racial and religious cards to serve their own ends.

If the true Malays were to faithfully adopt your policies, it would mean that people of Indian descent like you would need to join the many stateless Indians whose forefathers contributed much just like yours and yourself and are without the benefit of citizenship today.

Mushiro: It is hilarious to note that Dr M is worried that the sanctity of Islam will be doomed under Pakatan. We have seen how Mahathir, PM Najib Razak and Umno have made a mockery of Islam.

To Mahathir, corruption is Islamic, so are cheating, looting, injustice, misrule and owning San Miguel beer company. This man is desperately trying to save himself.

Faz: Absolute gems from Faekah. Indeed, Mahathir had lost his marbles. We used to laugh with him at the silliness and absurdity of some Malays or Malaysians in conducting their lives in Malaysia, which the good doctor then commented.

But 25 years later after giving up the PM's job due to his inability to reform the Malays, we are laughing at him for his remarks. I suppose, not only you are what you eat, but you are what you say, too.

Progressive: Throughout my life, I had numerous Malay friends. In so many ways, they are better than non-Malays.

They are patient, adaptive to new ideas and challenges, smart and for the ones who are not on handouts, they are hardworking and more trustworthy than other races. These lucky ones are now sought after in many jobs.

But it is Mahathir, who's grandfather was from India, who is telling the Malays all kinds of lies that they are under performers and will be wiped out if not protected and given handouts.

He has killed the Malays' self-confidence and created a very negative picture of the Malays in the eyes of non-Malays and foreigners.

With all its shortcomings in many ways we are far better in many things than many countries, including Singapore. And to a large extent this was made possible by a great Malay civil service.

Mahathir together with Perkasa chief Ibrahim Ali aim to destroy Malay's self-esteem and want to keep them "crippled" for their own self interest.

Cocomomo: Strong words, Faekah. This is definitely not going to be well received by Dr M or Perkasa. Expect some unpleasant words and action from them.

But rabid dogs do howl and bite and they can be very dangerous.
