PAS deputy spiritual leader Haron Din wants party secretary-general Mustafa Ali to be referred to the party's disciplinary committee following allegations of a sex video depicting the latter, of which the Terengganu politician has already denied.

Haron was quoted in Utusan Malaysia as saying that the party has its own internal mechanism to handle the matter, and it is wise for the disciplinary committee headed by Wan Mutalib Embong to look into it.

NONE "We have the disciplinary committee, and if it feels it would be proper to take action, then by all means go ahead," Haron added.

Meanwhile, PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang ( left ) was also quoted in the daily that Mustafa has a chronic pain in his knees, wherein for the past several years, the latter has been performing his prayers while seated on a chair.

Describing the video as unoriginal, Abdul Hadi said that if the parties responsible for the video wanted to find actors to frame individuals, they should at least find someone who is suitable for the role.

"Mustafa even has a problem in going down the stairs and he prays seated on a chair. When we (came to) know of the news (about the video), we laughed, as how could a person who prays seated on a chair act like this," the PAS president queried.

On Friday, it was reported that Mustafa's lawyer, Asmuni Awi, has denied that the PAS secretary-general was the person in the video which had been uploaded by several bloggers a day earlier.

It was also reported that police have seized 16 compact discs with images of the alleged act being distributed in Besut, and that the police is currently investigating the matter.

Utusan Malaysia also quoted the PAS secretary-general as saying that despite being plagued with such allegations, he remains unperturbed and is still holding on to his post.
