COMMENT Tasik Chini is within the parliamentary constituency of Pekan, the political base of caretaker Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak. Tasik Chini was once a magnificent natural treasure protected and conserved by the Orang Asli who have lived there for centuries. It’s the only Unesco Biosphere Reserve in Malaysia.
