Selangor PAS: Listen to rakyat on change of MB

Selangor PAS commissioner Iskandar Samad today said that Pakatan Rakyat politicians must be on the ground and "gather the public's opinion" regarding a possible change in the menteri besar’s post in the state.
Amidst renewed talk about Abdul Khalid Ibrahim being replaced as the MB, Iskandar said that the politicians alone must not make a decision as to whether the MB should be replaced.
"Do not ever sideline the people's wishes. They too have their rights because a MB is not owned by politicians but is owned by the rakyat," Iskandar ( left ) said in a statement today.
He said that it is only "fair" that grassroots opinion is sought during times such as these.
There have been recent reports that PAS had grown increasingly unhappy with Abdul Khalid and wanted him to be replaced as the MB.
"If the people didn't approve of a MB change, but it happens anyway, Pakatan Rakyat might feel the consequences in the next general election," Iskandar warned.
"Let the opinions of all communities and walks of life be taken into account. Don't just listen to a particular group," he added.
