YOURSAY ‘Najib should prove Bung wrong and cut short his political life.’

Bung's Hitler tweet wrong, says Najib

Ratbatblue: When stupidity mixes with arrogance, this is what we get as a result.

Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin excels in male chauvinism which only he thinks is cool. His general knowledge of world history leaves a lot to be desired.

He is ignorant of the vast majority of German people's extreme hatred of Hitler, and thinks it was a big joke invoking the dictator.

Even when apologising, he shows his arrogance by lauding himself. He is a painful embarrassment to Malaysia, causing enough blushes, so much so that even our "silent" PM was forced to break his silence.

This creep should publicly apologise to all Germans and women, and give an undertaking that he will not make statements of such a nature again.

Onyourtoes: Bung, it is not sufficient for you to apologise to the Germans. You must also make clear your true intention for praising Adolf Hitler when he was long gone and has nothing to do with present-day Germany and its football team.

Hitler and Nazism are more than atrocities committed during the Second World War. Neo-Nazism is an ideology followed by rightwing extremists in many countries.

So be a man, state openly your stand on Nazism. We would like to hear it.

Anonymous_3f6d: From CNN - In a statement , Germany's Ambassador to Malaysia Holger Michael said: "While we appreciate the admiration for the German football team, we strongly reject the unacceptable allusion to the fascist regime of Adolf Hitler."

It remains illegal in Germany to glorify Hitler or the Nazi Party, or to display symbols of the regime including flags, uniforms and slogans.

Fair&Just: Yes, it is illegal in Germany to glorify Hitler or what he symbolises. The fascists had caused untold pain, suffering and misery during their reign.

But what about here in Bigotland where the minorities are still being discriminated, deprived, suppressed, oppressed and even humiliated? Is this not illegal?

Kawak: Malaysia scored first in certain issues lately, making international headlines for wrong reasons. This is what we called ‘Malaysia Boleh’.

Some members of parliament are not fit to be in the House and yet picked by their parties to contest.

Wong Lu Shin: Well, this is a democracy so I can't blame Bung. The responsibility for this stupidity falls squarely on the people of Kinabatangan who voted for him.

Lamborghini: Each time, Bung opens his big mouth, he shows how small his brain and how big his ego is.

His silly, foolish and sick statements truly degrades him as an MP and he has brought shame and ridicule to himself and the nation and Sabah in particular.

As a Sabahan, I am ashamed that we have elected MPs like Bung who make a clown of himself each time he says something. How can we ever be a first-class nation with third-class MPs like this clown?

David Dass: A timely correction by the prime minister. It is hard to believe that Bung could have said what he said without realising how unacceptable it was.

And his apology is no apology at all. He lacks grace and finesse.

Abasir: Clearly something's going on here. The walkabout by Najib and now this ever so gentle rebuke. Should Malaysians hope for better days?

Hytan: There are only words in his apology but no sincerity, especially with him concluding "Long Live Bung".

Not Convinced: And even in his apology, he appeared to thumb his nose at his boss. Najib should prove him wrong and cut short his political life.

Mob1900: Still, ot everyday you get a PM to explain about somebody's tweets.

MCA sees red over Bung's green bra

Ah Gu, Ah Beh: Definition of a 'gentleman' - a man of good breeding or social position, a civilised, educated, sensitive, and well-mannered man.

None of which is the characteristic of this uncouth MP from Sabah. It’s a real shame to the nation to have such a person in the august House.

Odin: Please, MCA senator Chong Sin Woon, there is no such thing as a ‘true gentleman'. You are either a gentleman or you are not.

When you are not a gentleman, you are an uncouth male, a yob, a lout. Bung is a lout - and one obviously obsessed with the intimate parts of the female person.

Kangkung: MCA should be proud to be associated with this kind of leaders in Umno. In any other country, when a leader or MP is chastised by the public, he will quickly apologise but not Umno leaders.

They always think of themselves are above the law and can do as they wish. This racist Umno Kinabatangan MP is the type of Umno leaders who get re-elected time and again.
