Burglar dies after struggle with house owner
A burglar died after a struggle with the house owner in Desa Rejang, Wangsa Maju, at noon today.
Kuala Lumpur police deputy CID chief Khairi Ahrasa said the owner suspected someone was inside his house after seeing a pair of slippers and towel.

Kuala Lumpur police deputy CID chief Khairi Ahrasa said the owner suspected someone was inside his house after seeing a pair of slippers and towel.
"After searching, he aman hiding behind a refrigerator. He then pushed the refrigerator which fell on the man.
"A struggle ensued and the man was hurt in the hand. However, the man managed to push the house owner," he said in a statement today.
Khairi said the house owner shouted for help and a friend came to tie the man's hands.
The Motorcycle Patrol Unit, which arrived at the scene, found the man in weak condition and sent him to Kuala Lumpur Hospital where he died.
"No personal documents were found on him. The house owner and his friend were detained for investigation," he added.
The case is investigated under Section 457 and Section 304 A of the Penal Code (causing death by negligence).
