An accounts clerk was fined RM18,000 by the Sessions Court yesterday after he pleaded guilty for posting lewd contents in his blog three years ago.

Judge Zulqarnain Hassan also ordered Asnizukacaras Saari, 36, to serve a month in jail if he failed to pay the fine.

Asnizukacaras failed to pay the fine.

He posted the lewd contents on his blog at http:// yamanisalimvideo2013.blogspot.com while being at his workplace at the Perumahan Angkatan Tentera Berhad premises at No. 35-A-1-1 Jalan Wangsa Delima 5, Setapak in Kuala Lumpur at 2pm on Dec 2, 2013.

He was charged under Section 211(1) Communication and Multimedia Act 1998 which provides a maximum penalty of RM50,000 or a year's jail, or both upon conviction.
