The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) have received 250 police reports throughout the country on the stomping of the photographs of the country’s leaders at the Bersih 4 illegal rally recently.
Inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed this when contacted by Bernama today.
“To date, the PDRM have received 250 reports throughout the country about this,” he said.
On Aug 29 and 30, a 35-second video clip showing two women stomping on the poster photographs of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang went viral on the Internet.
The action, seen as insolent, incurred the anger of the people.
