Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today clarified that only 10.83 percent of the contract value was paid to a subcontractor involved in the construction of the TH Complex near the KL International Airport (KLIA).

In a statement, TH said the payment followed the termination of the subcontractor’s services by Turnkey Development Contractor TH over the delay in completing works as outlined in the terms of the contract and the completion of only 17 percent of the works.

The TH Complex is expected to be completed by end-2017, it said.

The pilgrims fund board added that it had bought only one plot of land in the Tun Razak Exchange development.
