Maria gets second death threat, this time 'decapitation'

As the clock ticks down to Bersih 5, its chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah received another death threat.

This time, images sent to her mobile phone showed the decapitation of Maria, her three sons, Bersih secretariat member Mandeep Singh and Human Rights Society chairperson Ambiga Sreenevasan.

The first threat received last month showed pictures of a man dressed in black and wearing a balaclava holding a dagger to the necks of Maria, Mandeep and Ambiga.
