Small and Medium Scale Entrepreneurs Alliance of Malaysia (Ikhlas) president Mohd Ridzuan Abdullah has warned of a bigger protest if the court does not make a fair ruling in the case of a lorry driver being assaulted.

“If the court makes an unfair decision, we will gather more than 1,000 lorry drivers and organise a massive protest,” he told reporters when met outside the Serdang district police headquarters.

Speaking to Malaysiakini later, Ridzuan said based on the court's decision, the lorry drivers might also gather in front of the Attorney-General's Chambers in Putrajaya.
