Three tutors for Salleh Keruak

Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak has rejected DAP stalwart Lim Kit Siang’s suggestion that he needs tutors to be schooled on the government’s financial scandals.

This was in response to Lim proposing three tutors to school Salleh on the BMF, Bank Negara foreign exchange (forex) and 1MDB scandals before he makes a fool of himself in his blog.

Meanwhile, Lim was schooled by journalist group Gerakan Media Merdeka (Geramm) for what it deemed as his uncalled for verbal attack against a mainstream media reporter during a press conference at the home of Zaid Ibrahim Tuesday morning.

Resurrecting BMF-Bank Negara forex

Former Umno member Ezam Md Nor has lambasted Umno Youth for flogging the dead horse of the BMF and Bank Negara forex saga, which he said won’t do anything to restore confidence in Malaysia’s present government.

Malay rights group Perkasa has welcomed the proposal to form a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) to probe corruption scandals in the country, including the BMF, 1MDB, SRC International, illegal logging, government-linked agencies and government agencies.

While according to Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, the cabinet is considering the possibility of re-opening investigation into the alleged loss of RM44 billion incurred by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) through foreign exchange trading from 1991 to 1993.
