The Johor Islamic Religious Council (MAIJ) has stepped up to aid a 6A Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) achiever, after the story that she was living with her mother and four other siblings in a snooker center's store-room, went viral.

The student, Farah Marcella, who scored 6A in this year's SPM examinations, was living with five other siblings and her mom in a store room located at a snooker centre, where her mother worked as a cleaner, in Johor.
