Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the state has discovered some "new, shocking and disturbing" information on the Election Commission’s redelineation proposal.

Based on the information, the state executive council had decided to file a legal suit against EC, he said.

Lim added that he will file the suit after April 7 on behalf of the Penang government.
