Parti Pribumi Malaysia Bersatu (Bersatu) deputy president Mukhriz Mahathir is unsure whether his father Dr Mahathir Mohamad is serious about becoming prime minister again.

Asked if Mahathir, who is Bersatu chairperson, was joking, Mukhriz replied: "I don't know, you tell me.”
