The MCA Puchong Youth division held a demonstration at the Bandar Sunway toll plaza along the Lebuh Raya Damansara Puchong (LDP) highway, to register their opposition to the hike in toll charges that will be implemented beginning Jan 1, 2007.

Division head Theng Book said that they wanted to express the sentiments of the 100,000 residents of Puchong who use the highway twice a day at least.

"We are not against increases in toll charges, but let it be reasonable and it should reflect the current economic situation," he said.
