In response to the letter by Sharaad Kuttan entitled 'The perils of anonymity' (June 7), I would like to suggest that all letter writers to malaysiakini be required to include their real names and phone numbers or NRICs to verify their identities. They may include their pseudonyms and specify that they be used instead of their real names if so wished.

This way, all letters published in malaysiakini will be deemed credible.

I for one have included details of myself and am requesting that my pseudonym, 'Eric Cantona Malaysia', be used.
