  • Malaysia’s violation of trade union and workers’ rights came under fire from Brussels-based International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) in its annual survey of trade union rights violations.

    Even participation in peaceful strikes and pickets can be dangerous in Malaysia, while large multinational companies were free to violate workers’ rights or weaken unions through dismissals and job reclassifications.
