I would like to simply comment on the letter titled Ring road: Minister running rings around us by a simple sentence: We deserve this nonsense and more.

Dear all Malaysians, we deserve all this because we have failed in our duty to have a strong check and balance within our government.

We deserve it because we keep voting in the Barisan Nasional (BN) like zombies when we know BN leaders are guilty of many scandals. Why should our ministers act correctly if they know they will always be elected to power no matter how badly they screw up?

Thus, to all Malaysians, so long as you continue to vote in the BN with a 4/5th majority, just shut up and accept this kind of nonsense.

We deserve it. Period.
