First of all, one can not confirm that the writer is really who he says he is. I have yet to meet any Muslim who wants to leave his/her religion except those who are being wrongfully detained by the government and are seeking legal recourse.
Even then, the grievances are with the authorities and not with the religion. I hope Muhammad Faisal can give the reasons as to why he has chosen to be an apostate so that his claim may seem more credible.
Muslims pride themselves as being the followers of a perfect and flawless religion. So, when we hear of people supposedly deciding to leave the religion, one is inclined to ask, why?
