With regards to the letter AirAsia operations legal? it has to be acknowledged by the travelling public that there are certain disadvantages if you fly on a low-cost carrier (or budget airline).

For these guys, the bottom line and the maximisation of aircraft utilisation are key factors, especially to destinations that are not that 'popular'. If you want comfort, convenience and scheduled flights, then you go fly with a full-service airline - which for Malaysian domestic routes is limited to MAS.

It is no secret that low-cost carriers based in Singapore fight aggressively for the rights to fly to the most profitable destinations in the region. They are either not interested, or reluctant, to fly to secondary destinations.

Why should AirAsia be any different?

It seems to me that a lot of people out there are not aware of what a low-cost carrier is all about. Unlike in the US or Europe where people know exactly what to expect when they go 'budget'.

Unrealistic expectations can't be blamed on AirAsia.
