I refer to the letter from Dapsy national secretary Loke Siew Fook, Dapsy elections: 'Irregularities' claim unfounded .

I am very surprised that Loke is unaware of what was happening in Dapsy.

For example, on Sunday night during the Dapsy annual general meeting, unsigned accounts presented by the Dapsy treasurer was passed. Is this fair? Hasn't the DAP been championing accountability and transparency?

Delegates who voiced their protest at this irregularity were brushed aside. Loke should explain this and not simply assume that there is no solid proof to irregularities.

And can Loke check the eligibility of Dapsy delegates who attended the AGM? He should also check those divisions that held their divisional AGMs and whether they were properly held.

Please don't ignore issues such as unsigned accounts being presented and approved at an important Dapsy meeting. Don't blame malaysiakini for bringing out into the open this issue. Let's correct our internal affairs first before blaming others.
