I refer to your report Dr M's ex-aide: Classified no more .
True to BN politics, confidentiality can be declassified as and when it is convenient and necessary. I find this double standard irritating and sickening to say the least.
Tun Mahathir Mohamad, in revealing all about the bridge issue, says the documents are no longer secret because Singapore revealed all in their press. He is, therefore, in no danger of being charged under the Officials Secrets Act (OSA).
The truth is nobody has any guts to drag him to court. The AG is the same AG which served under the ex-PM and will probably not find a case against him. This is the same AG who worked hard to put Anwar Ibrahim away forever.
In contrast, Ezam Mohd Nor had only revealed documents regarding the corruption of ministers of which much had already been revealed over the Internet. But he was still charged and had to face the court.
The truth is Mahathir is no longer the PM. He can speak but like before, he is playing according to his own rules. Pak Lah should treat him like how he (Mahathir) treated the Tunku back in the 80s.
