I refer to the letter AirAsia is A-okay by me by a person supposedly called Jag.

It's about time AirAsia put a firm stop to this kind of spin by their communications people. I have been observing their unscrupulous tactics for years - falsifying letters in the public media just to build up the image of AirAsia or to render damage control.

This abuse of the media shows a lack of honesty. This latest letter by 'Jag' is just another one of their farcical missives written to counter bad publicity.

Why can't AirAsia's Tony Fernandes just come out and say 'sorry' for once, to the child and the parents concerned, and do something really tangible for the child? Why add salt to injury? What happened to your scruples?

If you truly run an organisation with conscience, this is what you would do. You don't have to commit hara-kiri to show your sincerity and atonement for your airline' managerial negligence.

Just stop going on another cheap publicity spin. It is beginning to demean you, your image and your company.

'Communications experts and professionals'? Bah!
