'Anyone who is of the right frame of mind viewing the video can only come to the conclusion that he needs anger management therapy, and the sooner he is treated, the better.'
On 'Brickfields OCPD lost control'
Tiasin:
Anyone who is of the right frame of mind viewing the video can only come to the conclusion that the OCPD needs anger management therapy, and the sooner he is treated, the better.I shudder to think what will be the fate of the ordinary criminal in his hands.
PT Tan: Why must a police officer shout at the top of his voice. Don’t they learn ‘budi bahasa’? After all, they are our servants, not the other way round.
Why are people prevented from entering a police station? Someone who turns up for a legal and legitimate reason for access or information is arrested, with the OCPD not bothered about what they want in the first place.
All he want to do is to ‘tangkap’. He uttered ‘tangkap’ – not ‘tahan’. That means arrest. If one is arrested for a wrong reason, then the police can be sued.
By the way – is he really the OCPD? He was not in uniform, neither were the rest of his ‘tangkap’ team. He did not even bother to show his authorisation card nor did any member of the team.
Time police learn to play by the rules if they want others to obey. Start by being polite.
He could have said: ‘Either you disperse or I will have to arrest (detain) you’. And say it firmly and politely.
The police must know that the days of them lording over us are over. Parents no longer frighten their child with the mention of ‘police come if you don’t eat your rice’ kind of thing anymore.
The first signs of social breakdown are when those in the minority lord over others with a show of force and power.
Their wages are paid for by the majority but they are controlled by those more concerned with their bank balances and political survival instead of the ideals that they were sworn to upheld.
To stress my point – where did all this start? In Perak state assembly? Most of us don’t even know or care anymore. A dangerous social tipping point of no return.
I can only pray and hope for sensibility and it starts with the custodians of law, order and power.
John Johnson: We call for the immediate resignation of the OCDP of Brickfields. He is one angry person.
A dangerous unstable mind and a person who doesn’t care for the concerns and wishes of the people. He is more interested in specifying the law about an illegal gathering.
What is more important is that all the arrested activists should be given access to their lawyers. This is a basic human right.
This OCPD was shouting at the top of his voice while all the activists were silent and holding a peaceful vigil.
This OCPD should be reprimanded at once. These are the type of people who incite anger and violence.
On 16 arrested at Teratai candlelight vigil
Richard Lion: Ever since our recent newly-selected PM came to office, every day and night, we have seen the police busy of arresting the peaceful citizen of Malaysia.
Looks like more hardcore criminals will need to be released to make space for these peaceful citizens.
I’m calling out aloud to all PKR leaders to ‘SOS’ the world’s democratic leaders and NGOs who believe in human rights to please help, help, help all Malaysians.
Please, join in and call H...E...L..P!
Mengchai: BN is very poor in their strategy.
With the arrest of more of the candlelight vigil participants by the police, this will create more of an image problem for them.
After all, what damage can these gatherings pose?
Najib is really smearing further to his already bad image and this will no good for the next general elections.
