"I will expose incidents of embezzlement involving cowherding and fish farming activities as well as land owned by Felcra in Boston, USA worth about RM5 million during the assembly," said the NGO's president, Mazlan Aliman ( right ).

He claimed that the assembly will go on despite pressure from the Felcra administration to call it off.

"Felcra president Tajuddin Abdul Rahman (Pasir Salak MP) himself called me to persuade me to stop it," said Mazlan, who is also a PAS central working committee member, during a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today.

"They also urged Felcra settlers not to attend the assembly, and called the assembly site owners to ask them to not allow us to gather," he added.

"They are worried that their wrongdoings will be exposed so they are trying to suppress us."

The NGO plans to hold the assembly in Felcra Bandar Seberang Perak (Changkat Lada), Pasir Salak from July 31 until Aug 1.

On these days, Felcra settlers will be able to voice out their problems to the NGO whilst on the night of the 31st, PAS speakers such as Mohamad Sabu, amongst others, will be addressing the attendees.
