Among its efforts that have been rolled out is a series of text messages sent to mobile users, urging them to provide their feedback to the electoral reforms panel.
"Channel your opinions about the best way to strengthen the electoral system through email: jkpilihanraya@parlimen.gov.my," the SMS read.
A webpage for the PSC has also been set up on the Parliament portal, detailing the date, time and venue of various public hearings for private citizens and registered organisations.
A total of five public hearings is expected to be held in the next two months with the first one scheduled to take place on Nov 11 and 12 in Parliament at 9.30am.
Nationwide tour
The PSC will then move to Sabah, Sarawak, Penang and Kelantan before concluding its public hearing in Johor on Jan 13 next year.
Aside from email, citizens can provide their feedback through the MyIdeas portal .
The PSC was formed following the government's much criticised handling of the Bersih 2.0 rally on July 9 where thousands braved police threats, tear gas and water cannons to rally for electoral reforms in downtown Kuala Lumpur.
This is followed by a series of allegations of electoral fraud, including among others, illegal immigrants being given fast-track citizenship and voter registration.
After being condemned locally and abroad, Prime Minister Najib Razak hastily announced the formation of the PSC and pledged to fulfil much sought electoral reforms.
