PAS Youth demanded answer from Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein over the government's inaction over their accusations on two citizenship-for-votes programmes recently.

"PAS Youth urges the home minister to be responsible for these cases. He has to explain why it happened twice, and why no action has been taken although there were arrests.

NONE "Apart from the minister, PAS Youth also urges inspector-general of police and the director-general of National Registration Department to resign over their negligence and failure to carry out duties," said the wing's publicity chief Riduan Mohd Nor in a statement today.

He reiterated of MyKads being issued to foreigners were very serious as it threatens national security.

"PAS Youth is taken aback because the police is slow to sense such activities, and it is not serious in addressing the issues to the point that it can happen easily.

“We believe such case had happened many times everywhere in the country including Sabah,” he said.

Last Thursday a group of PAS activists claimed to have exposed yet another citizenship-for-votes scam at Sepang by the same alleged syndicate that last month bused hundreds foreigners to Putrajaya to have their citizenship processed.

However, Sepang police said no arrest had been made even though several individuals had been brought in for questioning in connection with the incident.

On Oct 12, a group of PAS members and locals had acted on another tipoff that six busloads of foreigners were having their citizenship processed at a resort in Bangi, Selangor.
