Special Branch infiltrated by Umno extremists?

YOURSAY 'One can equally hurl accusations that undesirable elements have infiltrated the Special Branch, but then the SB will lodge a police report.'

MP dares SB to name communist and JI 'inflitrators'

your say RR: Communism is now a forgotten ideology. It died in the last century. China and Russia, once leading communist countries, are now capitalist oriented where many billionaires are being created.

It is therefore foolish on the part of the government and the police to harp on this matter and frighten the ignorant country folks.

Even JI (Jemaah Islamiah) is rejected in most Islamic countries. The recent elections in the Arab states show that the moderate Muslims have rejected the extreme and fanatical branch of Islam. Malays and all Malaysians will never accept JI's version of an Islamic government in Malaysia.

I therefore call upon the home minister and IGP (inspector-general of police) to disband the Special Branch and to instead put these men to patrol the malls, housing estates and crime-infested areas to control the escalating crime where people are being knifed or murdered before being robbed.

The police are better off fighting crime than to waste resources on such worthless efforts.

Ethnicmalaysian: If anything, it's clear that Umno has infiltrated the Special Branch, as well as all other key government institutions.

Why do they not keep their mouths shut and let people think they are stupid, but instead open them and remove all doubt? This is truly farcical stuff.

Ipohcrite: I think one can equally hurl accusations that undesirable elements have infiltrated the Special Branch, but then the SB will lodge a police report and have that person charged in court.

Ferdtan: If the Special Branch cannot reveal the names of JI members and communists infiltrating the opposition parties, then it can be concluded that the police force is just another arm of Umno.

The failure of the police to curb the increase in crime (to Umno, crime is only a perception) has damaged their reputation.

Now with this spin, which no rakyat is foolish enough to believe, the police are making themselves so ridiculous that they should be ashamed to be seen in uniform.

Soon mothers would scold their children wanting to be in the police force.

'BN scraping bottom of barrel in Pakatan-terrorist link'

Sa Tombs: DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang, at first they used Umno-owned Utusan Malaysia to falsely accuse you of being former Singaporean PM Lee Kuan Yew's agent. When that failed to cause any ripples, the SB has now gotten into the act of alleging communist infiltration.

When this also fails to evoke any emotion, they will accuse the opposition of being infiltrated by the gay community, and when that fails, they will say that you are deliberately trying to cut off water supply to the people.

Who clutches on straws? Only drowning men. Rest assured that God is with the righteous, and the meek shall inherit the world.

Anonymous_40c3: In security matters of this nature, the authorities would not show their hand to ensure that their investigation is not compromised. Should there be any truth to the allegation, the authorities would certainly want to arrest those involved.

Having opened the stable door, the horse has now bolted. Was that the SB's intention, otherwise, what new standard operating procedures are they using?

Ourvotesdecide: Why has the SB not investigated who ordered their colleagues, the two convicted police personnel, to kill Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu?

Who ordered her record of entering Malaysia to be deleted by the Immigration? Those who issued the order are a serious/urgent threat to national security because they can kill people with impunity.

Also why has the SB not helped stop the rise in crime by collecting intelligence on criminals or their masterminds so that they can be arrested to make Malaysians safe?

Instead of becoming tools of Umno-BN to run down the opposition, these are their real jobs for which we the rakyat pay their salaries.

Fair Play: BN leaders are not sophisticated thinkers. In their line of reasoning, anyone who 'opposes' them is an enemy of the state.

To lend credence to this tag, they cannot say it themselves, so someone with 'authority' such as PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police) or SB would give some vestige of credibility, or so they think. Heck, the rakyat are a lot smarter than they care to admit.

Bumiasli: Whilst it is normal for parties to outshine one another during election time, BN has gone too far this time.

The real terrorists are the people who cause harm, rob the public, brainwash and practice double standards. We all know who these people are, and their luck may run out soon.

Disbeliever: These are just acts of a desperate prime minister and an equally desperate BN. This is what Prime Minister Najib Razak means by defending Putrajaya "at all costs" . He thinks that the rakyat are gullible.

Or perhaps by getting the SB to come up with this cock and bull story, the BN government will have a 'real' reason for detaining leaders of the opposition as they are deemed to be a security threat.

Actually the only threat the opposition poses is ending BN's 55-year reign. Looking at the current scenario, it is unlikely that the BN would want to surrender power should they lose the 13th GE.

Every government machinery, including the SB, is now in full swing, with the help of the so-called BN-friendly organisations and the mainstream media, to ensure a BN victory.

AkuMelayuIslam: It is the sickest people only who know how to make the sickest jokes. So do we want the sickest people to be our leaders? Not me, and I'm no terrorist or communist.

Smiley: The only infiltration by communists that I know of is the two communist pandas coming soon to Malaysia.
