Umno Youth exco member Lokman Noor Adam said he previously represented the real Sulu sultan, sultan Julaspi Kiram, not sultan Jamalul Kiram who ordered the attack on Sabah.

NONE Lokman ( right ), in responding to allegations from the opposition in the social media today who put up his calling card describing him as the ‘adviser to the Sulu sultan’, said he felt compelled to answer all these allegations from PKR vice-president Tian Chua or Chua Tian Chang, which he described as “stupid”.

“Certainly the allegations about me are a sign of desperation by opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, as a picture of his meeting with Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) leader Nur Misuari and Sabah Reform Party president Jeffrey Kitingan meeting the fake raja muda has been published,” he said.

He said sometime in 1959 Datu Mustapa Datu Harun went to Sulu to save sultan Julaspi Kiram, who was being threatened by his own royal family. Initially sultan Julaspi stayed in Sabah, and later the Malaysian government allowed him to stay at a house in Lorong Maarof, Bangsar in Kuala Lumpur.

Julaspi even voiced his support for Sabah to join Malaysia, said Lokman.

“This resulted in Sabah being a part of Malaysia, a sovereign country which is not claimed by anyone. Unfortunately, the imposter Jamalul Kiram appointed himself as the new Sulu sultan. This is the group which had been influenced by Malaysia’s opposition to infiltrate Sabah,” alleged Lokman.

He admitted that he had been appointed by the real sultan, sultan Roodinood, the son of sultan Julaspi Kiram, to be his adviser in 2005, and printed the name card for purposes of dealing directly with the Malaysian government.

“In my meeting with former home affairs minister Syed Hamid Albar, sometime in 2006, I relayed the difficulties faced by sultan Roodinood Julaspi Kiran. I was never paid any allowances as all this was done voluntarily,” he said, adding that neither the real sultan nor the fake sultan had the financial means to send the infiltrators, including supplying them with M16 rifles, rocket launchers and speedboats.

“However, following Anwar’s meeting with Nur Misuari and Jeffrey’s meeting with the fake raja muda had resulted in them forming an army, whereas in the past they could not even purchase uniforms,” he claimed in the statement.
