YOURSAY ‘I wonder if our home minister knows how many rakyat want to slap him?’

Bounties aplenty on Twitterjaya to slap Zahid

Not Confused: Not only does the idiot Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi need a slap, but I have a list of a dozen or more candidates from the prime minister downwards, that I and many of my friends are dying to slap really hard to knock some sense into their moronic heads.

I guess we should thank the cretin home minister for making this delicious idea quite legal. He has given us the possibility to have endless hours of fun.

The only sad thing is that he has once again, single-handedly, made Malaysia a laughing stock in the eyes of the world. My friends in the United Kingdom are all rolling around on the floor at such ridiculous statements.

Louis: There is Helen of Troy, with the face that launched a thousand ships, and then there’s Zahid of Malaysia, with the face that launched a thousand slaps.

Zahid, your face is really worth millions. The government can start a fundraising campaign, with proceeds going to the poor and needy. All Zahid has to do is allow people to slap him.

Based on the overwhelming offers, a slap can fetch a few hundred thousand ringgit. In one hour, you will be slapped a hundred times and that works out to be a few million - not bad for an hourly job.

Continue doing it as long as there are demands, and most probably by the end of the year, your face could have earned a few billion ringgit for the poor.

Well done, Mr Minister. You really have bright ideas!

LogicalMalaysian: What goes around comes around. What a brainless minister. The quality of ministers in Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's cabinet is pathetic. And these are the guys we have entrusted to run this country?

Zahid is not bothered at all. He is pitting himself to be the next PM and he has to get the attention of former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and the ultra Malays.

Slapping with a slipper, is that also covered under Zahid's immunity declaration?

Not Smart: Zahid, you are the only one who says that it is not a threat, but see for yourself how the public feels about the actions and words of the Muslim NGOs.

By you wanting to protect the NGOs and being selective in your actions, it looks like the slaps are now coming on to your face. The many rakyat’s same views on this matter cannot be wrong.

Even in a family, if a child says “I will slap you” to his/her siblings, the parents will intervene to stop such behaviour, to be fair and to protect the innocent.

We don't know much about your family's background and upbringing, but your actions, arrogance, and words do not reflect well of your character. Ask a child if such words from a stranger would be threatening and may be you can learn from the answer.

You are probably the worst, and the bottom of the 47 percent lot.

Ginger: Bingo! The opportunity finally is here. Did Ahmad Zahid Hamidi know how many Malaysians are waiting to slap some Umno leaders for so long?

Thanks for this ‘non-issue’ decision. I really admire your generosity and your political wisdom. (But please don't blame on the reporters' wrong interpretations again in a later stage. Stick to this.)

Shibboleth: Dear Zahid, okay... offering a reward to slap someone is not an offence. What about offering a reward to kick someone in the butt instead?

Since it hasn't happened yet, there’s no need to investigate eh?

Doc: What's the use of trying to slap some sense into Zahid? Zahid's statement that slapping DAP’s Seputeh MP Teresa Kok does not constitute a threat is not his first - nor will it be his last - idiotic statement.

We really need to identify if Zahid has a brain in between his two ears, or if it is just filled with kangkung to hold up his face.

Sali Tambap: This is just playing into his hand. Slapping and punching people are things that he does; there is no need to stoop to his level. Stand on the moral high ground and let him expose himself for what he is.

Perhaps in his life and his philosophy, slapping a woman is the right thing to do.

Not surprising though - maybe he has been there, done that?

Malaysian Pariah: These idiots are not worth slapping. Doing so will only hurt your hands. It’s probably worth praying to God to put some sense into their heads.

Stories: Making a joke out of a prime minister is insulting and seditious, but assaulting a parliamentarian is okay. 1BN, while the rest have other rules.

Open minded: This is the result of having a docile prime minister who seriously lacks fortitude and courage to take command.

Anonymous #70881335: I wonder if our home minister knows how many rakyat want to slap him?

Senior: And he is a potential PM... I fear for this country.
