Negarawan: The rogue teachers involved should be directly confronted not only by the parents of the victims, but also by the whole Christian community. A clear and strong message has to be given to them.

It is also important to find out who is funding these conversions. Don't hope that the inspector-general of police (IGP) will even lift a finger, as evidenced by his defiance of court orders in recent custody cases.

These bigots must realise that true conversion can only occur from the heart, not by force or coercion.

Not Confused: What is it with these Muslim teachers and others? Why is it that they are so desperate to spread Islam in this underhanded way? It clearly indicates the bankrupt thinking of many who agree with such actions by not doing anything to stamp it out.

Victor Johan: IGP, there's a police report on this case. Quick, get going with your investigations and arrest the errant teachers from the peninsula and the religious department officers. Go, on the double, or triple.

Headhunter: This is bound to happen as there are now too many teachers from Peninsular Malaysia and they are all Muslims as well as religious teachers.

The state government has to act fast and put a stop to this type of covert operation before they are out of control.

Sending them back is not the answer. There should be punitive measures like dismissal from the service, and as many have suggested, be banned from re-entering the state. And bring them to court if they have broken the law.
