Kedah Umno leaders were tight-lipped about their meeting with Umno president Najib Abdul Razak at the Putra World Trade Centre today.

When approached by the media after the meeting, Baling MP Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim had few words to say.

"There's nothing, there's nothing. Everything is ok," he said while rushing into his waiting limo.

Another Kedah Umno leader, Mansor Abd Rahman said he could not comment.

"I can't comment. Thank you. I can't comment. I'm sorry, thank you so much," the Sik Umno deputy chief said.

The Kedah Umno rebels, led by state deputy chief Ahmad Badshah Md Hanipah, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Jamil Khir Baharom and Education Minister Mahdzir Khalid had met with Najib at about 5pm today.

The meeting lasted for just half an hour before the Umno president left.

Kedah Umno is in turmoil after Ahmad Badshah declared that the party no longer had confidence in Mukhriz Mahathir as Kedah menteri besar.
