The MCA central committee has issued a stern warning against it Titi Tinggi assemblyperson Khaw Hock Kong for "not verbally expressing" the party's stand against unilateral conversion.
The assemblyperson instead walked out of the Perlis legislative assembly in protest of amendment to a state enactment, to allow unilateral conversion of minors.
"YB Khaw failed to express the party's objections in the dewan and outside the dewan, leading speculation on MCA's position on the matter."
